Mie Goreng simply means "fried noodles" in Indonesian and is, alongside Nasi Goreng, the most commonly cooked everyday dish in Indonesia. The noodles are stir-fried in a wok with Kecap Manis, sambal, garlic, and spices – quick, inexpensive, and incredibly flavorful.
