Emping is an Indonesian nibbling, which is made from the flour of the seeds of the Melinjo tree. The seeds are ground into a flour that is processed into a dough with water and spices. The dough is then shaped into flat slices and either baked or fried to produce crispy and aromatic crackers.
We recommend baking these raw emp - briefly in hot oil.

Melindjonesses, vegetable oil (can be felt by peanuts)
